You can eat fish at Mahoning’s fire hall

NEW CASTLE — The Mahoning Township Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor all-you-can-eat fish dinners every Friday during Lent.

The dinners will begin this week at the fire hall on Route 551 in Edinburg.

Served from 4 to 7 p.m., they can be eaten in or taken out. They include choice of baked or fried fish, french fries, macaroni and cheese or pierogies, cole slaw, bread and butter and dessert.

The cost of $9 per person or $8 per senior citizen will benefit the fire department.

The last dinner of the season will be served on Good Friday.
