Chamber to offer QuickBooks training

NEW CASTLE — The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a half-day class in Advanced QuickBooks.

The session is designed for anyone who currently uses the accounting software and will run from 8 a.m. to noon Feb. 27 in the chamber’s conference room at 314 Fifth St., Ellwood City.

The instructor, Donna Kozarovich, is a certified adviser and blogger for Intuit.com.

Among the topics covered during the class will be customizing and maintaining QuickBooks, bank reconciliation, use of reports and graphs, adjustments and year-end procedures. A working knowledge of QuickBooks will be helpful.

Those who have specific concerns about a business’ QuickBooks setup may take a laptop and ask Kozarovich questions during the breaks.

Coffee and light refreshments will be served. Reservations are required and due by Feb. 21. The class will cost $50 for chamber members and $60 for non-members.

Applications can be found on the chamber website at www.ellwoodchamber.org and may be submitted by email to info@ellwoodchamber.org.

More information is available by contacting Lori Hilliard, chamber executive assistant, at (724) 758-5501.
