NEW CASTLE —
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation crews will be working on a portion of Highland Avenue starting today.
The project will include milling and resurfacing and conducting base, drainage and shoulder repairs on Highland Avenue between Englewood and Lawnview avenues.
Lane closures will occur in the work zone from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Sept. 30.
The project is included in a $3.5 million contract with IA Construction Corp. of Zelienople.
