Man arrested on warrant


A Sharpsville man was jailed after a Pulaski Township traffic stop Sunday.

According to state police, Drew Lamar Williams Jr., 20, of Sharpsville was stopped for a traffic violation at 1:14 p.m on Route 60 at the Lawrence County line. Police learned that he was wanted on a warrant from the sheriff’s office of Trumbull County, Ohio.

Williams was taken into custody, arraigned before District Judge Jerry Cartwright and lodged in Lawrence County jail on $25,000 bond.
