Three people were injured after a pickup truck hit an embankment Thursday in Wilmington Township.
Patrick Sean Hughes, 21, of Volant, the driver, was treated at Jameson Hospital, then transferred to a Pittsburgh hospital.
Ronald Paul Cramer, 20, of New Wilmington, a passenger, was treated at Jameson Hospital and released.
State police said another passenger, Jeremy Ray Herron, 21, of New Wilmington was injured but was not taken to a hospital by ambulance.
Police said Hughes was heading north around 3:20 a.m. on Route 956, just north of Wilson Mill Road, when he lost control of the truck. It hit a mailbox then crossed the road and sheared a utility pole, then went down an hillside, across a field and into a creek where it struck an embankment.
