Hooker sting nets three


New Castle News

Three men were charged on Wednesday for soliciting prostitutes.

New Castle and state police used two undercover female state troopers, who posed as prostitutes, at the corner of South Mill and Phillips streets.

Those arrested on charges of one count of patronizing prostitutes were Walter J. Weber, 35, of Edinburg; Charles Robert McConnell, 50, 911 Cleland Mill Road; and John D. Sargent, 46, of 591 Route 208, Pulaski.
