Former teacher charged

— A former Wilmington High School teacher has been charged with harassment. New Wilmington Police Chief Carmen Piccirillo said the summary charge was filed against Thomas C. Tomeo, 59, of Old Mercer Road, Volant. The charge stems from a March incident involving a student, according to police. Tomeo, who was a world cultures teacher, resigned from his position last month.
