Published July 10, 2008 09:48 am - Police called about suspicious person New Castle News Ellwood City police are looking into a suspicious person report involving children.
Police said they received a report that a man drove past three youngsters who were walking in the 400 block of Eighth Street around 7 p.m. Sunday. The children said the man drove slowly, parked his car, got out and started to follow them. One of the children advised the younger girls to run onto the nearby porch of someone they know. Police said she then yelled for the homeowner to come outside because the girls were being followed. Police said the man got back into his car and drove off before the adult could confront him.
