Multiple theft charges were filed Thursday against a former Westminster College student.
Sarah E. Henry, 22, of North Bloomfield, Ohio, was charged by New Wilmington police with theft, receiving stolen property, access device fraud, forgery and identity theft.
Charges were filed before District Judge Scott McGrath, but as of yesterday, no warrant had been issued for her. Thus, she has not been taken into custody or arraigned.
Police said charges stem from allegations that Henry took a Visa check card from a female co-worker April 5 while the two worked for a catering service at Westminster College.
Police allege that Henry then used the card to purchase $234.47 worth of gasoline, gift cards and grocery items at Sheetz and Giant Eagle in New Castle.
Police said they recovered gift cards and about $150 worth of groceries.
