Published May 09, 2008 09:18 am - Charges pending in drug case New Castle News Two suspected drug users were found in Gaston Park.
New Castle police said park security came upon two men engaged in possible drug activity in a parked car at 5:30 p.m. Monday night. The men ran, according to Chief Tom Sansone. One was apprehended, the other got away. The names of the suspects have not been released. Sansone said the investigation is continuing and charges are pending. ’We recovered drug paraphernalia containing residue,’ he said. ’Those items were sent to the police lab for testing.’
