Missing man’s body found

New Castle News

The body of Perry Township man, reported missing Saturday, was found this week in Beaver County.

State police said no foul play is suspected in the death of Timothy James Locke, 40, of 120 Heavenly Lane, Fombell. His body was discovered about 2 p.m. Wednesday under the Koppel Bridge, which carries Route 351 over the Beaver River.

According to police, Locke’s body was found along the river bank by family members who were searching for him.

Locke was pronounced dead at the scene by Beaver County Deputy Coroner William Pasquale.

The cause of Locke’s death remains unknown, and police said a forensic pathologist is to examine his body before a final ruling is made.

State police in Lawrence and Beaver counties, as well as the North Sewickley Township Police Department in Beaver County are involved in the investigation.
