Police search for fake cop

New Castle News

State police in Lawrence County are looking for a police impersonator.

A bulletin sent out to local law enforcement agencies late yesterday afternoon sought assistance in locating a suspect who pulled over a female motorist along Route 60 near the Mitchell Road exit.

Apparently, the man identified himself as a police officer, but he is not. No other details of the incident were available at press time.
