Union High School class representatives will meet at 1 p.m. Aug. 13 at the township building.
Representatives are to turn in reservations and money for the reunion at the meeting.
The reunion is scheduled for Aug. 25 at the Villa Banquet Center.

The New Castle Planning Commission has recommended approval for a conditional use request for a drug and alcohol counseling center.

Veteran expert slates city visit
A department service officer from the American Legion will be in New Castle Thursday.
The officer will be at state Rep. Chris Sainato’s office, 20 S. Mercer St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to answer any questions regarding Veterans Administration and state benefits. -
EMT course set in county
An emergency medical technician course is being offered in Lawrence County. The program — presented by EMS Lawrence County Council and the Community College of Allegheny County — will be at the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center.
