NEW CASTLE — The Pennsylvania Office of Open Records will conduct its annual training on the Right-to-Know and Sunshine Laws.

“The right-to-know law is an important tool for promoting transparent and accountable government in Pennsylvania,” executive director Terry Mutchler said. “Training agencies and citizens is a key component in ensuring the proper use and correct application of the law as we all work together to fulfill the law’s purpose.”

The training will be conducted Sept. 15 and repeated Sept. 22. It will start at 1 p.m. each day in the State Museum Auditorium at 621 N. Third St., Harrisburg.

The training is free. Registration forms are available at: http://openrecords.state.pa.us.
