NEW BUSINESS: Polish restaurant opens in Neshannock

New Castle News

NEW CASTLE — Aneta’s Kitchen is now serving Polish specialties in Neshannock Township.

Aneta and Sergiusz Labudek had owned a restaurant in Poland for more than three years, “cooking old recipe Polish dishes.”

When the Labudeks came to New Castle two years ago, they said, a lot of people asked them to consider offering traditional Polish dishes because of the number of residents with Polish backgrounds.

“We have chosen traditional Polish dishes based on more than 200 years of recipes,” they said. “In addition, we will try to introduce modern Polish dishes as daily specials.”

The two pointed out they had waited more than a year for their location — 3107 Wilmington Road — to become available.

“We think that mid-Neshannock location will attract customers from around Neshannock and New Castle, but also from Hermitage and New Wilmington,” they noted.

Aneta’s Kitchen offers pierogi, stuffed cabbage, haluski, kielbasa in kraut along with salads and daily soups and specials.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays..
