Editor, The News:
Government funding of abortion will be a reality unless it includes Stupak-like language.
Abortion is certainly not health care and should not be under any health insurance that Americans will be forced to subsidize.
What this health care bill proposes is a bailout for the abortion industry that is already profiting.
As it stands now, there will be private insurance options that will include abortions subsidized by the government.
People should tell Congress to vote against any proposal that allows for government-subsidized abortions.
For several years, I, as many others, have made financial contributions to the Haitians, especially the orphanages. Watching the news, it is heartwarming to see America responding to save the Haitians.
My prayer is that we would do the same to save our unborn babies.
