Pickleball player praises decision in Neshannock

NEW CASTLE — Editor, The News:

Because of the Neshannock Township supervisors and the maintenance crew, pickleball players now have a permanently lined court at Pearson Park.

Those of us who will use the court appreciate the decision of Supervisors Ralph Sheen, Ed Stevens and Joe Gierlach who, in just a matter of hours after hearing our request, responded by having Matt McCaskey and his staff go to work lining one of the tennis courts for pickleball.

This example of leadership makes it possible for us to enjoy the game.

Have you held or will you hold a garage/yard sale this year?

I have and it was a success! It's a great way to get rid of some junk and make a little extra pocket money.
I have, but it didn't go over so well. Better luck next time?
I haven't yet, but I plan to.
I haven't and I don't plan to. It's not for me.
