Editor, The News:
The Obama administration awarded big business with a delay on health reform.
Congress was given a special exemption. Why are the Democrats so set against delaying this for the rest of America?
It seems the Democrats are more interested in entrenching this into American life than actually improving health care.
They are against any changes that may actually improve the enactment of this law, but why? Could it be when the government has control over our health care, then they have control over our lives? This law will create even more government dependency.
A majority of Americans don’t want Obamacare. Even unions are now against the law.
Sen. Scott Brown was elected in Massachusetts to stop the passage but the Democrats circumvented this and passed the bill in reconciliation without one Republican vote.
My favorite quote comes from Rep. Nancy Pelosi, “We have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it.” That’s disgraceful.
The president seems to have forgotten there are three equal branches of government in the United States. Our founders left England because they did not want to be ruled under a monarchy. Perhaps someone should share this with our current president.
Harry Reid refused to negotiate with House Republicans. He cares more about preserving the president’s legacy rather than protecting the American people.
The House of Representatives sent multiple government funding bills to the Senate, all rejected. Perhaps the Democrats should try negotiating with Republicans rather than terrorists who want to see us dead.
