NEW CASTLE — Editor, The News:

Our brother passed away on Nov. 12 of an unexpected illness. He was laid to rest knowing that his wife and daughter are also resting beside him.

His daughter passed away Aug. 18, 1953, at the age of 2 years, 8 months. She was laid to rest in Texas, where they resided.

He and his wife moved to Florida and then came to Pennsylvania to live with family, almost 20 years ago. His wife passed away July 30, 2009.

He wanted to have his daughter brought back to be with them, so he contacted Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home to see if that would be possible.

Gary Bonelli of Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home began to help us more than two years ago. He contacted people in Texas to try to make arrangements.

It took over a year and Bonelli worked diligently by phone and mail to make this happen and finally after all the red tape and many unforeseen problems, he brought her here last summer.

We, his family, are so happy that they are resting together now and we owe it all to Bonelli and the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home. Without them we wouldn’t have ever got it done.

They cared as much as we did about bringing her home to be with her parents in their final resting place.

Our appreciation goes out to Gary Bonelli and the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home.

We will be forever grateful.
