The Westminster College community and readers of Pittsburgh newspapers will remember Barbara Cloud, who died recently at 82.
Ms. Cloud, an alumna of the college, covered fashion news for the former Pittsburgh Press from 1957 to 1992 and later wrote a column for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
In recent years, said Post-Gazette executive editor David Shribman, “Her column was a tour guide to a Pittsburgh fast disappearing and yet she understood, appreciated and had a sense of wonder about the new technology and the new Pittsburgh.”
