Remember the show “Truth or Consequences?”
The Bible says you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free — John 8:32.
Sadly, many will pay the consequences because they didn’t want to believe the truth.
The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27, “It is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment.” The Bible says there is going to be a second death. In Revelations 20:14 death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
The Bible says whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire — Revelations 20:15.
The second death will be eternal separation from God. If a person ends up at the Great White Throne, he missed it. It’s too late — Revelations 20:12.
The Bible, God’s word, says today is the day of salvation, not next week or next year, but today. The only way to avoid this second death is through Christ Jesus. Read Romans 10:9-10.
Read the word, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God — Romans 10:17.
We are commanded to read the word — 2 Timothy 2:15 We are to warn every man.
Suppose someone is going east on Route 422. The bridge over Slippery Rock Creek is out and I have a chance to warn him and I don’t. What would people think of me? But if I warn him and he keeps going and perishes, it’s his fault.
Many people have a bridge out ahead of them and don’t even know it.
We are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
Luke 21:19 says in your patience possess ye your souls. Patience means persevere.
