LETTER: Letter poses risk for writer

Editor, The News:

I would like to answer the letter that Dave Amodie wrote to you and was published Oct. 19.

I spent 19 months in the U.S. Navy during World War II to fight the fascists and I consider myself to be a conservative Republican and a Christian.

Also, I have a little information. If the Democrats have their way and pass the hate crimes bill, for Amodie’s remarks he would either be fined or put in jail or both.

So my advice for Amodie is to get down on his knees and ask God forgiveness for his remarks.
