Stand up for New Castle by showing up at polls

NEW CASTLE — Editor, The News:

“Stand Up For New Castle.”

There is no better way to stand up for New Castle than by voting on Tuesday. Our votes must be informed votes and we must elect candidates who will represent all of the people, not just a select few.

New Castle is notorious for its lack of voter turnout on election day.

When this happens, undesirable candidates, those with large families and cronies, have a great chance of winning. Those who are receiving perks from our political process show up for every election and they work hard and spend a lot of money to keep control.

Why would anyone spend a lot of money to win a school board position?

If there is any hope for our city, we must keep this from happening by voting.

And this is why I support Andrea Przybylski and Philip Conti for New Castle school director.

My other two votes will be for two of the incumbents. They represent what the school board needs.
