NEW CASTLE —
Editor, The News:
The Lawrence County Animal Relief Fund is again offering its low-cost spay and neuter program for cats only, through November.
We will have one clinic per month. For only $35, qualified applicants can have their cats spayed or neutered and vaccinated for rabies.
There are many benefits to having this done. The main benefit being is reduction of the population of unwanted animals, without euthanasia.
Male cats that are not neutered have a tendency to spray to mark their territory; this usually stops after neutering. Cats that have been spayed or neutered tend to have fewer health problems and live longer lives.
We encourage all cat lovers to consider our program, but space is limited.
Applications and additional information are on our website at: www.lcarf.com, or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to LCARF, Box 8514, New Castle, Pa. 16107
