Watching Fox News provides true facts

NEW CASTLE — Editor, The News:

I tend to agree with a letter written at year’s end by Geoff Reed.

However, I completely disagree with a different writer’s opinion who stated that Johns was brainwashed by Fox News. I continue to watch Fox News to learn true facts, unlike some brain-dead liberals who view government or Obama-controlled news.

Let’s not forget: “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor and if you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance!” By 2016 we may hear; “If you like the Constitution, you can keep it and if you like your freedom, you can keep it.”

Next, President Obama’s greatest feats within five years:

1. Golfing with Tiger Woods.

2. Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing; it should have been awarded to Nelson Mandela.

3. The White House lawn “beer summit” with Obama, Biden, Professor Gates and Sgt. Crowley for conversation over beers which averted a discrimination uprising.

4. Most important achievement, Obamacare.

Words cannot express the billion dollar or more demise he has placed upon taxpayers. I am implying to working class people, not those who believe the government owes them a living and therefore refuse to work.

Obama has remarked that all he requires is a pen and a phone to change anything; we pray that his pen does not write and his phone fails to work. Obama has replaced President Carter’s rating as most deficient president with Carter now in the number two position. There is one man only who can fix the entire world and he cannot be nominated. Need I explain?

  • Patriotic attire rule offends veteran

Editor, The News: On July 2, as I was checking out of our local Wal-Mart, something happened that disturbed me. A cashier went to the cashier in my lane and said orders had come down from the store manager that no one was allowed to wear any patriotic shirts, pins, symbols or anything showing patriotic colors from July 4 to July 11.

Editor, The News: I always wanted to be a meteorologist. I am never wrong or right and I still have a job. I provide data that no one understands while I am warm and dry waving my arms with that important suit and smug smile.

  • People should check health insurance

Editor, The News: I have paid the local hospital almost $1,500 in co-payments because my supplemental insurance was turned into a health maintenance organization, which was allowed to override my Medicare coverage.
