NEW CASTLE —
Editor, The News:
I have been reading letters to the editor about Comcast dropping Channel 21-WFMJ out of Youngstown.
I find this truly sad.
I have always thought that it was so nice that the people in New Castle could enjoy either Youngstown or Pittsburgh news and weather, since we are in between both of these larger cities, and I also enjoyed a lot of WFMJ’s programming as well.
I for one wish Comcast would reconsider. I have enjoyed watching WFMJ for many years, even when I was a kid. We used an antenna then, didn’t need cable.
I guess the article in the newspaper about voicing our opinion to Comcast was no help at all. It had already decided, because, when I called the 800 number for Comcast to say that I still wanted to have WFMJ, they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I was told that they would “note” my request.
Again, it just saddens me to see it go.
