New restaurant draws rave review for food

NEW CASTLE — Editor, The News:

Wow! A new restaurant, new owners, occupying the former building where the Villanova restaurant once thrived. It is now Prost Tavern, established 2013.

Thanks to the new owners’ acquisition of the recipe of the famous 1947 Villanova pizza, the pizza has a place on the menu and its sweet goodness remains for Lawrence County to savor and enjoy.

The cleanliness of the premises and the quality of the food, the huge selection, pricing and service will cause many customers who try this establishment to return again and again. The Friday night fish is huge and the German cuisine is unmatched. The fresh cut fries, the smelts (awful close to Jimmy Medure’s of yesteryear) and the huge selection of entries should pleasantly surprise and amaze any newcomers.

Let’s support our new businesses and let’s figure out ways to improve our economics in the county we call home.
