People should patronize only human circuses

NEW CASTLE — Editor, The News:

Recently, we went to see Cirque Du Soleil perform at the Covelli Center in Youngstown, Ohio.

What a great show. Awesome music, singing, special effects and acrobatic feats, all done by humans. You could tell that they really enjoy what they do because no one was forcing them to do it.

I urge people not to attend or support any type of entertainment that forces animals to perform, such as circuses, rodeos, etc.

These animals must perform, or else. They have no say like their human counterparts.

If people don’t support such shows, maybe one day there will be no more. We must speak for those that can’t.

Have you held or will you hold a garage/yard sale this year?

I have and it was a success! It's a great way to get rid of some junk and make a little extra pocket money.
I have, but it didn't go over so well. Better luck next time?
I haven't yet, but I plan to.
I haven't and I don't plan to. It's not for me.
