NEW CASTLE —
Editor, The News:
I would just like to express appreciation for the overwhelming response of the New Castle community on giving donations to the Hurricane Sandy/Staten Island drive we recently held at the Medical Arts Building.
We only had about five days to collect, sort, pack and deliver the goods, and the community donations just kept pouring in until the last minute.
The people will be so grateful, I’m sure, as the response from our community was fantastic. I am grateful to all who gave from their hearts. They are truly amazing.
