Streets near cemetery are in need of repairs

NEW CASTLE — Editor, The News:

New Castle is my hometown, but now I live out of town.

My husband and I have been back to visit family. We always go to Graceland Cemetery, where I have family members who are laid to rest there.

I have one question: When are they going to fix those nasty roads or goat paths?

They are horrible. They have been that way for years.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal signed “unprecedented” legislation yesterday to expand gun rights in his state. Good idea?

Yes. Expanding the scope of where people can carry guns can help halt violent crimes and make those places safer.
No. Carrying guns into bars and schools is NEVER a good idea. I think it will lead to more violence.
Not sure, but I don’t plan to visit Georgia any time soon.
