Painesville banking is less of a pain

NEW CASTLE — Editor, The News:

How many of us in Lawrence County struggle to get to the bank during bank hours to address dollar matters directly with in-person interaction?

How many have experienced the frustration of arriving at 4:29 p.m. to meet a mortgage payment deadline and by the time you get to the door, it is locked?

Well, downtown Painesville, Ohio’s, Huntington Bank has the following banking hours for traditional banking needs: Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wow, what does Painesville have over the cities in Pennsylvania? I never saw banking hours of the likes of Painesville (smile).

Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 fell from the sky in Donetsk, Ukraine, on Thursday, killing all 298 people aboard. Many are speculating that Russian rebels (supported by Vladimir Putin) are responsible for downing the aircraft. What do you think?

Yes. All evidence points that way.
No. Everyone is so quick to point fingers, but there's not enough evidence to support claims of Russian guilt.
I'm not sure. I'll just wait until the investigation is over to make up my mind.
What is up with these Malaysian Airlines planes? I know one airline I won't be flying any time soon...
