Abortion by any name is still declared murder

NEW CASTLE — Editor, The News:

Should God turn His back on America?

Our nation has engaged in 40 years of infanticide. One faction claims “choice” as justification. But do they really understand what they endorse?

A “doctor” can birth an 8-month-old “fetus” feet first to the neck, sever the backbone and spinal cord with scissors, insert a tube and suck the brain out, then extract the head and dispose all in a bio-hazard container.

That’s choice. It’s legal and is tantamount to barbarism as hideous as the death camps of Nazi Germany.

Saline abortions are just as hideous. More than 50 million babies trashed.

A new mother tosses her stillborn into a trash bin and that is a crime. Why? Our society thinks that the unborn are just garbage, right? That is what the “doctor” did, isn’t it?

A New York City couple were killed by a hit-and-run driver recently and the woman was pregnant. The driver is facing three counts of vehicular homicide. I thought the unborn were not human, not viable citizens. Yet exceptions can be made when expedient.

Who stands for the sacred rights of the unborn? Is the Declaration and Constitution not for them, the future generation? Instead of promoting death, why not allow the churches to counsel these women with life options. Oh, my we couldn’t possibly let the church do something that government can foul up beyond all recognition.

Abortion is not “planned parenthood” which is an oxymoron. How can you call irresponsible behavior “planned?”

I can dip dung in chocolate and call it a confection, but in the end, it is still dung. Likewise, you can wrap abortion in “choice” and call it legal, but it is still murder.

The creator of life would be justified in His indignation toward America.

  • Patriotic attire rule offends veteran

Editor, The News: On July 2, as I was checking out of our local Wal-Mart, something happened that disturbed me. A cashier went to the cashier in my lane and said orders had come down from the store manager that no one was allowed to wear any patriotic shirts, pins, symbols or anything showing patriotic colors from July 4 to July 11.

Editor, The News: I have paid the local hospital almost $1,500 in co-payments because my supplemental insurance was turned into a health maintenance organization, which was allowed to override my Medicare coverage.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
