NEW CASTLE —
Editor, The News:
On April 15, my father’s home at 1150 Roosevelt St. caught fire.
His neighbor noticed the fire and immediately called 911.
I was listening to my police scanner that night. I heard the initial dispatch go out for the structure fire at my dad’s residence.
Within seconds, emergency responders were responding to my father’s home and were on the scene within minutes.
My family and I would like to extend our appreciation to every individual/EMS responder who assisted that night on a job well done. Through their selflessness and bravery, my father was given fabulous care.
I would like to personally recognize members of the Shenango Township Fire Department, Noga Ambulance Service and the Shenango Township police, not only for the service that they provided my family, but for what they do on a daily basis.
They exhibited professionalism and care from start to finish. We are truly blessed to have these individuals on our side, among us and in our community.
