NEW CASTLE — Editor, The News:
It’s almost funny to the point of laughing except for my facts and truths being taken so far out of context that I then realize what we deal with when dealing with a liberal.
Sorry, I shouldn’t label Dave Amodie without knowing him better. I do think, however, that his weak attempt to back “his” president fails miserably.
No matter what he says or what he thinks about President Obama, the facts won’t back Amodie up. This simply is a failed presidency on all fronts, as the facts will ring true when we follow them.
Amodie believes the president to be “an exceptional example for America’s youth.” We rational, sane conservatives know this is a dangerous and frightening statement.
I also couldn’t believe how well Amodie knows me, as he stated in his last paragraph on Dec. 23 in his letter to the editor. I believe he called me a monster with inner ugliness and a hypocrite, racist and bigot and I’ve not yet had the pleasure of meeting him.
It doesn’t matter to me that I’m a registered Republican and never would I ever have voted for an inexperienced, unqualified junior senator, not because of racism or bigotry but because I completely disagree with his dangerous politics. There are several qualified minority candidates who would have gotten my vote. Oh, I just recently became a registered Republican on Aug. 16, after 42 years as a Democrat.
