LETTER: Missing cat prompts help

New Castle News

Editor, The News:

One of our four house cats escaped into the “wild” on Aug. 7.

We put up posters, we took out ads, we went door to door and searched many wooded areas in our neighborhood.

We appreciate all the people who responded and called us with possible sightings. The Neshannock Township police also helped.

We are grateful to the people who feed cats in our neighborhood who kept their eyes open, as well as the merchants who put up our posters and especially to Faraone’s restaurant and Freddie for his caring.

The great news is at about 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 23, Puff returned home safe and sound.
