I would like to commend a young man, John Black, who was our rover on Election Day. As the judge of the North Beaver Township Number 2 election board, it was a pleasure to work with this senior from Mohawk High School. John was polite, pleasant and conscientious to his position (using his computer knowledge). When asked of his activities, he said he worked part time as a cook at Perkin’s Restaurant and plans to attend Pittsburgh Technical Institute to further his education. There are many young people who often go unrecognized for their knowledge and skills with others in the community. It is my hope to encourage others to recognize the youth for their many contributions. Lucille McConnell New Castle
