James F. Hammers

James F. Hammers, 59, of Carla Drive, Darlington, Pa., died Friday morning, March 21, 2008, in The Medical Center, Beaver.

He was born Oct. 15, 1948, in Beaver Falls, a son of the late James and Audrey Patterson Hammers.

Mr. Hammers was a truck driver for Costa Tank Line, retiring after many years.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy McKee of Enon Valley and Jamie Pease of Bessemer; one stepdaughter, Nicole Conkle of Darlington; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gale P. Hammers.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel, 926 Cunningham Ave. The Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Beaver Falls.
