Eveliner Lockett, 50, of 111 N. Lee Ave. died the afternoon of March 21, 2008, in Edison Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Oct. 4, 1957, in New Castle, she was a daughter of Argel Mitchell and Leona Lawson Harrison. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives.
She was a custodian at the former St. Francis Hospital.
Ms. Lockett enjoyed bingo.
She was a member of New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ.
In addition to her mother, survivors include a daughter, Tina Mitchell of New Castle; three sons, Jermaine Flamer, Damian Dukes and Justin Johnson, all of New Castle; two brothers, Chris Dorman of Pittsburgh and Keith Burley of New Castle; two sisters, Darlene Lawson and Kathy Currie, both of New Castle; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Johnson, and a brother, Charles Thompson.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, 28 Long Ave. A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the church. The Rev. Gary Clark will officiate.
Arrangements are by the Charlotte A. Sheffield Funeral Home, 454 Chestnut St.
