Andy Rusinko, 82, of Volant died March 22, 2008, in Grove City Medical Center, Grove City.
Born Jan. 14, 1926, in Turtle Creek, Pa., he was a son of the late Paul and Mary Garin Rusinko.
He married the former Mary Morrone on Dec. 30, 1965. She survives.
Mr. Rusinko retired in 1981 as a mechanic for United Airlines in Pittsburgh following 30 years of service.
He was a graduate of Turtle Creek High School and the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics.
Mr. Rusinko was an Air Force veteran, serving four years.
He was a member of the Tri-County Music Association.
A self-taught musician, he was an accomplished guitarist, and mandolin and banjo player.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Carol Rusinko of Turtle Creek; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy Simmons of Arlita, Calif., and Sharon and Jake Addair of Mechanicsburg, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Herbert Goetz, pastor of Plain Grove Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in South Plain Grove Cemetery.
