Photos, Story, Cast List: Laurel to present ‘West Side Story’


NEW CASTLE — If You’re Going ...

•Laurel High School will present “West Side Story” at  7 p.m. March 20, 21 and 22 in the Laurel High School Auditorium.

•There will be a dinner and a show on Friday and Saturday nights.

•Tickets are $7 for the show and can be purchased in the high school prior to the show and should be available at the door.

    Laurel High has found its man. Brian Cooper replaces Pat Cuba at the helm of the Spartans football program. Cuba resigned last month after leading the Spartans to a 7-3 record and the program’s first playoff appearance since 2009.

    Blaine Forbes has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Laurel School Board. Forbes, who previously served on the board, was approved Monday by a unanimous vote of the eight board members.
