District Judges: Listings for Sept. 26

NEW CASTLE — MELISSA A. AMODIE

New Castle police charged the following people:

•Daniel James Tukelo, 20, of New Castle, receiving stolen property.

•James Kevin Vukich, 49, of New Castle, aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment.

•Raymond Jay Price, 44, of New Castle, fleeing or attempting to elude officer, driving under the influence, accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, reckless driving, backing up vehicle improperly, failure to stop and give information or render aid, failure to keep right and not yielding at roadway.

•Heather Ryhal, 24, of New Castle, robbery, theft, receiving stolen property and simple assault.

•Hillary Ryhal, 24, of New Castle, robbery, theft, receiving stolen property and simple assault.

•Julian Marquis Jackson, 24, of New Castle, robbery, possession of firearm prohibited, carrying a firearm without a license, four counts of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, theft, receiving stolen property, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and conspiracy.

•Lorenza Jackson, 44, of New Castle, robbery, possession of firearm prohibited, carrying a firearm without a license, simple assault, theft, receiving stolen property, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and conspiracy.

•Christopher David Murphy, 20, of New Castle, firearms not to be carried without a license, recklessly endangering another person and discharge of firearms prohibited.

•Eugene Courson III, 31, of New Castle, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

•Samuel Lee Odem, 58, of Sharon, charged by state police with two counts of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lane, driving with no headlights and failure to use safety belt.

Wampum police charged the following people:

•Nicholas L. Buccelli, 23, of Ellwood City, disorderly conduct.

•Brandi Schaas, 18, of Wampum, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.

•Joseph Charles Jacobs, 19, of Ellwood City, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.

Ellwood City police charged the following people:

•Jean L. Wheeler, 45, of Ellwood City, two counts of driving under the influence and careless driving.

•Michael Lee Whitlatch, 25, of Ellwood City, two counts of driving under the influence.

Union Township police charged the following people:

•Sue Ann Allshouse, 30, of Edinburg, retail theft.

•John G. Clark, 17, of New Castle, harassment.

State police charged the following people:

•Arthur J. Wagner III, 34, of New Castle, public drunkenness.

•Brian Bruce Wheeler, 23,of West Middlesex, defiant trespass.

•Fred Randy Blumling, 37, of New Castle, public drunkenness.

•Marvin R. Marney Jr., 31, of New Castle, defiant trespass.

•Jordan Spencer Peak, 21, of New Castle, defiant trespass.

•Noah Wyman, 20, of New Castle, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.

•Morgan M. Bertram, 20, of Ellwood City, intent to possess a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespass.

•Franklin Jerald Hess, 21, of Volant, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespass.

•Rickie Jo Freed, 22, of Ellwood City, possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespass.

•Jacqueline Ann Moore, 22, of New Castle, charged by New Wilmington police with theft, receiving stolen property and diversion of services.

Neshannock Township police charged the following people:

•Jason M. Hess, 38, of West Middlesex, simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment.

•Shannon Brock, 36, of New Castle, forgery and theft by deception.

State police charged the following people:

•Stephan A. Muscarella, 17, of Pulaski, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.

•John Alexander Presnar, of New Castle, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.

•Cody Ryan Wohlgemuth, 18, of New Bedford, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.

    A hearing for the woman accused of striking a police cruiser and killing a Shenango Township officer has been rescheduled. Kylee Gwen Barletto, 26, of 693 Hoover Road, will face a preliminary hearing at 1 p.m. June 6. It had been scheduled for Thursday morning.

  • Man sentenced after hotline calls lead to drug arrest

    A former Youngstown man, arrested after North Hill neighbors called the District Attorney’s Drug Hotline, has been sentenced. Rodney Bernard Madison, 37, formerly of Thornton Avenue, Youngstown, was sentenced to two to five years in the Lawrence County jail with credit for 732 days served, followed by two years probation.

  • Ellwood City club receives citation

    An Ellwood City club has been cited for gambling activities. The Pennsylvania Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement has cited the Ellwood City Saxon Club at 901 Millview St.

  • Barletto.jpg Suspect in officer’s death jailed in county

    Kylee Gwen Barletto was composed walking into court Monday until a television reporter pelted her with questions. Escorted by two state troopers, she was asked, “What do you have to say to the police officer’s family?” “I’m sorry,” she uttered as she was ushered into the court lobby. Then she burst into tears.

  • brown.jpg Prosecutors granted stay in Jordan Brown decision

    A hearing on the status of a boy accused in a 2009 fatal shooting has been canceled. The hearing on 15-year-old Jordan Brown’s detention had been planned for Lawrence County Court today, but was canceled after prosecutors requested, and received, a stay in the proceedings.

    Kylee Barletto was arraigned this morning by District Judge Jerry Cartwright. She is being lodged in the Lawrence County jail on $250,000 bond. Barletto, 25, is charged with homicide by vehicle and 14 other counts in the May 2 death of Shenango Township police officer William J. McCarthy IV.
