On the Record: Today’s police items and district judge reports

NEW CASTLE


•Theft. About $10 in change was stolen from a car parked in a lot across from the Cathedral on East Lincoln Avenue around 7 a.m. Thursday. Two Lawrence County-owned vehicles parked there also had been broken into.

•Burglary. A rifle and $60 in change were stolen from an apartment in the 300 block of East Moody Avenue between 6:30 and 9:15 p.m. Wednesday.

State police charged the following people:

•Lamar Quentin Holmes, 39, of New Castle, seven counts of turning movements and required signals violation; four counts of disregarding traffic lane; three counts each of failure to stop at red signal, failure to keep right, passing left unsafely, exceeding the speed limit, and passing improperly; and one count each of fleeing or attempting to elude officer, recklessly endangering another person, accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, disorderly conduct, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without a license, using improper class of license, operating vehicle without required insurance, operating motorcycle improperly, careless driving and reckless driving.

•Andrae Laroy Carlisle, 29, of New Castle, four counts of turning movements and required signals violation; three counts each of failure to stop at red signal, failure to keep right, passing left unsafely, disregarding traffic lane and passing improperly; two counts each of failure to obey traffic control devices and exceeding the speed limit; and one count each of fleeing or attempting to elude officer, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, driving while operating privileges suspended or revoked, using improper class of license, operating motorcycle improperly, careless driving; and reckless driving.

•Dawn Marie Lamenza, 32, of Ellwood City, criminal trespass.

•Richard B. Hall, 32, of Ellwood City, criminal trespass.

•Kenneth Joseph Hink Jr., 37, of New Castle, harassment.

•Orville Richard Duncan, 40, of New Castle, receiving stolen property.

•Katrina Duncan, 37, of New Castle, receiving stolen property.

•Brandon M. Mackievich, 23, of New Galilee, charged by Union Township police with disorderly conduct.

•James Robert Scott Jr., 36, of New Castle, charged by Mahoning Township police with arrest prior to requisition.

•Bob J. Glodic, 62, of New Castle, charged by Neshanock Township police with driving under the influence and disregarding traffic lane.

Melissa A. Amodie

•Thomas John Kaszowski Jr., 40, of Girard, Ohio, charged by New Castle police with simple assault and harassment.
