District Judges: Listings for Oct. 13

NEW CASTLE — Melissa A. Amodie

New Castle police charged the following people:

•Christopher Michael Pagley, 28, of New Castle, two counts of burglary, possession of an instrument of crime, two counts of criminal mischief, robbery, conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and terroristic threats.

•Richard Ralph Cotelesse, 30, of New Castle, burglary, criminal trespass, two counts of theft by unlawful taking, access device fraud, theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

•Christopher Clinton Burse, 21, of New Castle, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

•William Ronald Fry, 28, of New Castle, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, robbery and conspiracy.

•Dominick John Sansone, 55, of New Castle, defiant trespass and public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

•Telisha Marie Dennis, 29, of New Castle, defiant trespass.

•Robert Lee Gravatt, 23, of New Castle, receiving stolen property.

•Dana Marie Dominick, 33, of New Castle, fleeing or attempting to elude officer, reckless driving and two counts of failure to stop at red light.

Ellwood City police charged the following people:

•Nancy Lee Mercado, 69, of Ellwood City, harassment.

•Linda Lee Boots, 44, of Ellwood City, disorderly conduct.

•Tiffany Lee Pounds, 17,of Ellwood City, disorderly conduct.

•Nicholas Kudlac, 16, of Ellwood City, disorderly conduct.

•Jarod Lamont Johnson,15, of Ellwood City, possession of tobacco and criminal trespass.

•Jeffrey Lee Johnson, 15, of Ellwood City, criminal trespass.

•Devin James Myers, 16, of Ellwood City, purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.

•Mark Lee Moore Jr., 23, of New Castle, charged by New Castle police with robbery, terroristic threats, receiving stolen property, harassment and firearms not to be carried without a license.

Union Township police charged the following people:

•Paul M. Drushel, 40, of New Castle, retail theft and receiving stolen property.

•James Landovis Jones Jr., 24, of New Castle, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, loitering and prowling at night and disorderly conduct.

•Larry A. Withrow, 64, of New Castle, charged by state police with theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception.

Shenango Township police charged the following people:

•Hazel J. Ryhal, 41, of New Castle, unauthorized use of a motor or other vehicle.

•Thomas E. Gennock, 49, of New Castle, retail theft.

New Castle police charged the following people:

•Nicholas A. Perrine, 26, of New Castle, abandoning any dog within the commonwealth.

•Leo Z. Delfosse III, 38, of New Castle, non-removal of dog feces.

Scott A. McGrath

The Pennsylvania Game Commission charged the following people:

•Jordan L. Macri, 22, of New Castle, use of artificial or natural bait violation and stand or platform damage to a tree.

•David Chandler Snyder, 21, of New Castle, stand or platform damage to a tree.

  • jail.jpg Inmate files federal suit for alleged beating

    A Lawrence County jail inmate is accusing corrections officers of abusing and mistreating him after his arrest. An attorney for Scott J. Lauderbaugh Jr., 29, of Mercer filed a lawsuit Friday in U.S. District Court against five corrections officers, alleging they violated Lauderbaugh’s civil rights by beating up on him “maliciously and sadistically” upon his admittance to the jail Feb. 5.

    An attorney defending a pain management doctor claims his client dispensed prescriptions within the parameters of the law. A Pennsylvania attorney general’s deputy said she intends to prove that 61-year-old Dr. Van Edward Scott had prescribed powerful and highly addictive drugs to at least eight patients in Lawrence County and that he prescribed the drugs to three patients who were drug-dependent.

  • Barletto.jpg Kylee Barletto Hearing: Judge lowers bond for woman accused in Shenango officer’s death

    Charges against the woman accused of killing a Shenango Township policeman have been held for court. However, bond for Kylee Gwen Barletto, 26, of 693 Hoover Road was lowered, with the condition she be placed under house arrest if she is released.
