To Jolynn Gardner and Steven Archuleta of New Castle, a son on March 19, 2014, in Horizon Hospital, Farrell.

STATE


•Accident. Police said an unknown truck going south on Route 65 in Wayne Township crossed the highway and struck a sign, mail box and house number sign on the side of the road at 10 p.m. March 12. Police said the driver did then fled on Route 65. Debris from the vehicle indicate the vehicle was a Ford F-150 and its left side mirror was damaged. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at (724) 598-2211.

•Diane L. Vandergriff, 56, of New Castle, charged by the Lawrence County district attorney with eight counts of conspiracy to commit theft by deception.

•Richard D. Sallman, 47, of Enon Valley, charged by Little Beaver Township police with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

JENNIFER NICHOLSON

•Joel C. Duncan, 51, of New Castle, charged by Union Township police with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of reckless driving, careless driving and disregarding traffic lane.

•Lance Michael Louis, 33, of New Castle, charged by the Lawrence County district attorney with four counts each of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, intent to possess a controlled substance and one count of use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

DAVID B. RISHEL

•Stephen Louis Krieger, 39, of New Castle, charged by state police with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without a license, driving while operating privileges suspended or revoked, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, restrictions on alcoholic beverages violation, failure to use safety belt and operating vehicle without valid inspection.

•Henry Rae Iman, 44, of Butler charged by Shenango Township police with two counts of driving under the influence.

SCOTT A. MCGRATH

•Susan Darlene Parker, 51, of Pulaski, charged by state police with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of failure to keep right, disregarding traffic lane, careless driving and failure to use safety belt.
