•Theft. A blue Cadillac was stolen from a driveway in the 2000 block of Delaware Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

•Burglary. Someone reportedly was inside a home in the 200 block of East Moody Avenue around 9:50 p.m. Tuesday. A caller drove by the house and reported someone was on the second floor with a light on, and a television set was moving around. Officers seized two rifles and a portion of an assault rifle from the house. They said the two rifles had serial numbers that had been altered, damaged or unreadable.

•Burglary. Numerous pieces of copper pipe were stolen from the basement of a house in the 200 block of East Euclid Avenue between April 9 and Monday. Police said someone opened the unlocked front window to get inside. A witness saw two men leaving there with a backpack April 10.

•Burglary. Someone broke into a house in the 1300 block of Albert Street between midnight Sunday and 2:45 p.m. Monday and stole numerous pieces of copper pipe.

•Attempted burglary. A door and frame were damaged at First Merit Bank, 25 N. Mill St., between April 13 and Monday.

•Burglary. Someone entered the former church at 114 Maitland St. between April 8 and 12. Police said the front door had been damaged and had pry marks. Nothing was reported missing.

•Burglary. About $40 in coins, 60 compact discs and a laptop computer were stolen from a home in the 500 block of East Reynolds Street between April 10 and 11.

•Andre Terrance Martin, of New Castle, charged by New Castle’s code enforcement department with accumulation of garbage or rubbish.

New Castle police charged the following people:

•Deandre L. Johnson Jr., 20, of New Castle, manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and giving false identification to a law officer.

•Patrick V. Haswell, 44, of New Castle, indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct.

•Jodi L. Stefano, 48, of New Castle, two counts each of driving under the influence, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and intent to possess a controlled substance.

•Kenneth Paul Massioni, 27, of Ellwood City, giving false identification to a law officer.

•Jason R. Kratsas, 38, of New Castle, driving under the influence.

•Mitchell Lee Rea, 27, of Fombell, intent to possess a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and turning movements and required signals violation.

The Lawrence County district attorney charged the following people:

•Torey Hitchcock of Detroit, Mich., receiving stolen property and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Dominic Anthony Brown of East Point, Mich., receiving stolen property and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Javoni Antoneo Hitchcock, 23, of Detroit, Mich., receiving stolen property, possession of firearm prohibited, aggravated assault and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Lindsay Sue Ostrom, 26, of Ellwood City, charged by Ellwood City police with two counts of simple assault and one count of harassment.

•Jonathan F. Fellion, 45, of New Castle, charged by Shenango Township police with anti-littering violation.
