On the Record: Today's births, police items, and district judge reports




•To Michael and Ashley Gasbarro of New Castle, a son on June 24, 2013.



•Theft. A dark pink Grand Mongoose bicycle and a white Huffy bicycle from the 400 block of Blunston Avenue between 8 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

•Theft. A heating and cooling unit from a building in the 100 block of North Mercer Street between Friday and Sunday. The unit was found on a pedestal attached to the side of the back of the building. Someone cut copper pipe leading into the building and left the remaining copper. Part of the breaker was removed from the box.

•Theft. An electronic game and a garage door opener from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Norwood Avenue on Thursday.

District judges


New Castle police charged the following:

•Roger Nylander Traylor, 34, of New Castle, simple assault and harassment.

•Kasey L. Wilder, 27, of New Castle, retail theft.

•David B. Kennedy, 31, of New Castle, disorderly conduct.

•Angela Ballard, 46, of New Castle, disorderly conduct, harassment and disorderly house.

•Jacob Scott Piper, 31, of Portersville, two counts of driving under the influence and one count of careless driving.

•Teondrea Waller, 26, of New Castle, disorderly conduct, harassment and disorderly house.

•Tyler Nicolls, 22, of Orlando, Cal., three counts each of terroristic threats, bomb threats and obstructing the administration of law or other government functions.

•Romar Dupree Watts, 32, of Sharon, intent to possess a controlled substance.

•Tanisha Ballard, 30, of New Castle, disorderly conduct, harassment and disorderly house.

•Henry Lawrence Grannis Jr., 23, of New Castle, defiant trespass.

•Jason Paul Jenista, 31, of New Castle, two counts of driving under the influence and one count of restrictions on alcoholic beverages violation.


Mahoning Township police charged the following:

•Breanna M. Freshcorn, 18, of Hillsville, four counts each of theft and receiving stolen property.

•David Michael Monrean, 20, of New Castle, conspiracy to commit theft and conspiracy in receiving stolen property.


Shenango Township police charged the following:

•Jerry L. Mosely Jr., 24, of Beaver Falls, public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

•Orlando L. Pionati Jr., 58, of New Castle, theft by failure to make required disposition of funds and theft.


•Stephen G. Delpero, 55, of New Wilmington, charged by New Wilmington police with domesticated household pets violation.
