•Burglary. Between 7 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Sunday on Big Run Street. A television was taken from a living room and a television was knocked over on a kitchen table. A child’s bedroom was ransacked and a camera was missing. The rear door was open and the dead bolt damaged, police said.
•Burglary. In the 900 block of Maryland Avenue between Friday and Sunday. Two bicycles were taken from a detached garage.
•Criminal mischief. In the 1000 block of Dewey Avenue overnight Saturday. Porch furniture was stolen and a yard damaged. Multiple eggs were thrown at the victim’s car, police said.
•Theft. A cell phone, wallet, cash and an ESB bank card from a a purse in the 500 block of Waldo Street on Saturday.
•Theft. A .380-caliber handgun from the trunk of a car in the 200 block of West Moody Avenue. According to police, the gun owner discovered the theft Monday, but last saw the firearm two months ago.
•Theft. Cash and lottery tickets from four unlocked vehicles parked in the 600 block of Sixth Street, West Pittsburg, the night of June 26.
•Criminal mischief. Police said the hood and windshield of a car were covered in a paint–like substance on Boyles Avenue overnight Friday.
•Accident. About 7:20 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 376, Union Township. Police said Shelly R. Smith, 39, of New Castle was negotiating a right curve when she lost control of her motorcycle and hit a guard rail. Police said she had moderate injury and was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
•Accident. At 11:40 a.m. Tuesday on Route 18, just north of Maitland Lane. Police said Tawna Millerleile of 3216 Lexington Drive was traveling south and traffic was stopped. When traffic began moving, Millerleile struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Diane A. Snyder of 3530-1 Hunters Woods Blvd., pushing her vehicle into the rear of one operated by Ann S. Plonka of 3520-1 Hunters Woods Blvd. No injuries were reported.
