NEW CASTLE —

•Burglary. A 32-inch television, still in the box, was taken from a house in the 700 block of Blaine Street between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

•Burglary. A red push lawn mower, valued at $400, was taken from a house in the 200 block of East Laurel Boulevard between July 16 and July 30.

New Castle police charged the following people:

•Edward Kamel Abraham, 32, of New Castle, aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.

•Dewon Harper, 24, of New Castle, defiant trespass.

•John Robert Ayersman, 23, of New Castle, use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Patrick W. Bailey Jr., 27, of New Castle, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness and similar misconduct.

New Castle's code enforcement department charged the following people:

•Rita Sims, 52, of New Castle, accumulation of garbage or rubbish.

•Judith Hughes, 53,of New Castle, exterior paint violation, gutters and downspouts violation and stairways, decks, porches and balconies violation.

•Shirley Johnson of New Castle, overhang extensions violation and exterior paint violation.

•Diane Razo of New Castle, accessory structures violation.

•Sherry Colley, 38, of New Castle, failure to vacate.

•Eric V. Engelkes, 36, of New Castle, failure to vacate.

Sharp Collections charged the following people:

•Ashley Wise, of New Castle, taxation/violation of ordinance and failure to make required return.

•Alana Williams, 32, of New Castle, taxation/violation of ordinance and failure to make required return.

•Jennifer Trott, of New Castle, taxation/violation of ordinance and failure to make required return.

•Kyle Nicholas Monroe, 20, of Ellwood City, charged by state police with disorderly conduct and purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.

•Perry Gallentine, 22, of Beaver Falls, charged by municipal animal control with abandoning any dog within the commonwealth.

•Joseph William Moczan, 30, of Ellwood City, charged by Ellwood City police with harassment.

•Jennifer Marie Dunlap, 31, of Hermitage, charged by Shenango Township police with 10 counts of adulterating or misbranding any controlled substance, three counts of driving under the influence and one count each of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving.
