On the Record: Today's police items and district judge reports

NEW CASTLE — Police

NESHANNOCK TOWNSHIP


•Accident. Police said a car of Stacey Ryder, no age or address given, was turning from Raptor Circle onto Maitland Lane about 6 p.m. Tuesday when she was struck by an eastbound Jeep driven by Diane Leasure, no age or address provided. Police said Leasure hit Ryder’s car as she pulled from a private drive. Ryder told police she couldn’t see approaching traffic because of the sun shining in a traffic mirror posted there. No injuries were reported. Ryder’s car was towed.

•Angelfish Holdings, of New Castle, charged by New Castle code enforcement department with failure to cut weeds or grass.

New Castle police charged the following:

•Robert Patrick Mahich, 35, of New Castle, accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, failure to stop and give information or render aid, driving while operating privileges suspended or revoked and disregarding traffic lane.

•Shanekequa L. McKinght, 22, of New Castle, defiant trespass and disorderly conduct.

•Derry Raymond Newton Jr., 40, of New Castle, harassment.

•Rocco's Italian Food of New Castle, control of alarm devices violation.

•Jamar Anthony Comedy, 25, of New Castle, burglary, criminal trespass, retail theft, receiving stolen property and theft.

•Amy Crespo, of New Castle, retail theft.

JENNIFER NICHOLSON

•Jeffrey S. Murphy, 46, of Enon Valley, charged by state police with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of driving with license suspended and failure to keep right.

Union Township police charged the following:

•James Albert Jones Jr., 37, of Bessemer, two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of driving while operating privileges suspended or revoked, not using low beams and disregarding traffic lane.

•Patresha R. Clark, 26, of New Castle, retail theft and conspiracy.

•Danielle Kozora, 24, of New Castle, retail theft and conspiracy.

North Beaver Township police charged the following:

•Oliver W. Stratton, 68, of Enon Valley, harassment.

•Theron Boots Sr., 51, of Enon Valley, harassment.

•Ashlee Gaston, 25, of Coroapolis, Pa., charged by Shenango Township police with retail theft.

SCOTT A. MCGRATH

•Michaelene Babovsky-Chisholm, 67, of New Castle, charged by municipal code enforcement with a weed ordinance violatio.

Neshannock Township police charged the following:

•Jamie D. Rouzzo, 41, of New Castle, retail theft and receiving stolen property.

•Gary L. Nicholls Jr., 48, of New Castle, retail theft and receiving stolen property.

•Tammy Sue Tabish, 39, of New Castle, retail theft.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
