To Aaron and Alaina N. Miller of New Castle, a son on May 30, 2013.

Police

SHENANGO TOWNSHIP


•Retail theft. Police cited Randall Allen Cook, 44, of New Castle for retail theft. They said he left Kmart in Lawrence Village Plaza shortly before noon May 25 without paying for $41.97 worth of merchandise.

PULASKI TOWNSHIP

•Stolen vehicle. A black 1991 GMC Sonoma pickup truck was stolen yesterday morning from the corner of Route 208 and Evergreen Road. The driver’s window was broken in the theft, police said. The vehicle has a red pin stripe and an Operation Lifeline magnet with an American flag on the left side of its tailgate. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pulaski Township police at (724) 964-8891.

New Castle police charged the following people:

•Sandra Zang, 48, of New Castle, simple assault and harassment.

•Mark A. Quear, 24, of New Castle, two counts of receiving stolen property and one count each of theft from a motor vehicle, theft by unlawful taking and driving while operator privileges are suspended or revoked.

•Charles Zang, 43, of New Castle, simple assault and harassment.

•William Reynolds, 45, of New Castle, harassment.

New Castle's code enforcement department charged the following people:

•Amy L. Pro of New Castle, sanitation of exterior property areas violation and failure to cut weeds or grass.

•American Mutual of New Castle, sanitation of exterior property areas violation, weeds, trees and ornamental shrubs violation and failure to cut weeds or grass.

•Michael P. Arlow, 56, of Enon Valley, charged by state police with simple assault and harassment.

•Tony Montgomery, 28, of Pittsburgh, charged by Ellwood City police with two counts of corruption of minors and one count each of theft from a motor vehicle and loitering and prowling at night.

•Robert F. Hurd, 34, of Bessemer, charged by Bessemer police with simple assault and harassment.

David B. Rishel

•Anna Martinez of New Castle, charged by dog law enforcement with pet confinement and control violation.

Shenango Township police charged the following people:

•Anthony J. Disanti, 52, of New Castle, disorderly house.

•Ryan Austin Nixon, 18, of New Castle, defiant trespass.

•Courtney Nicole Carbone, 20, of New Castle, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children.

Scott A. McGrath

•Charles Wallace Gibson Jr., 48, of New Castle, charged by Neshannock Township police with harassment.
